Save The Dates
I designed these bad boys myself using Vista Print and with the sale price, I managed to get 100 of them for $2.49....oh yeah! The map of Italy will be a constant theme throughout our wedding. A magnet with one of our engagement pictures will be attached to this card.
This is the magnet that I made from Vistaprint that will be attached to the card. I used one of our engagement pictures and created the design myself. $30 bucks for 100 from
http://www.vistaprint.comwhen I used a coupon they sent me.
Bridal Shower Stuff
The bridal shower that my Man of Honor and sister are planning is a fushia and black/ martini themed event. They asked for my input so I gave them a basic idea of what I wanted and these are the invites. They are oversized postcards designed in Vistaprint and were free! The only thing they paid for were the envelopes for $3.99 and shipping.
These recipe cards will be sent with the shower invites. They are regular sized postcards designed in....you guessed it....vistaprint! They were free! Gotta love my creative Man of Honor and Maid of Honor! :)
Invitations!
I love the neat, organized look of pocketfold invites, but I was having a tough time finding invites that I liked. So....I decided to make my own. I ordered the 5x7 signature pocketfold from
www.cardsandpockets.com in sparkling merlot, with a sliver invitation mat. The inserts I created and layed out on my computer and then had copies printed on 110lb card stock at Staples.I cut them to size myself using a paper cutter. It was extremely easy to do, but I have to admit it was a little time consuming. To go along with our Italian theme, the heading of each insert is written in Italian with the information contained on each card written in English. I finished them off with a belly band and our monogram. I then added a 5mm hotfix swarsovski crystal using the hotfix tool to each one. I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!
Wrap Around Labels
When I first saw these, I thought they would be ridiculously hard to make....so not true! These labels were easy to make and I absolutely LOVE the final product. I created a template in MS Word using a ton of text boxes. I then printed them off on full 8.5 x 11 label sheets from Staples and then cut them to size.
Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
We decided that since our wedding day is going to be all formal, and fancy schmancy and whatnot, we wanted the rehearsal dinner to be very low key and laid back so we could relax with our family and friends the night before. We decided to have a NY Mets themed BBQ at my parents house for our rehearsal dinner. That way everyone can sit back, have a hot dog or two, a nice cold beer, and relax by the pool and hot tub and relax for the next day.
I created the rehearsal dinner invites using Vistaprint (regular sized postcards) and they were free. The only thing I paid for were the envelopes which were only a couple of bucks. I am going to put these invites in the envelopes of the invitations of those who will be invited to the rehearsal.
Table Numbers
We had to include the dog. He is just too stinkin' cute in his tux! Our table numbers are going to be pictures of our Bichon Frise, Koda wearing his tux. Each table will have a different picture and to continue with our Italian theme, each table number is written in Italian.
