Where we went...The Sagamore
We decided to take a trip up to Lake George for the long Columbus Day weekend in October of 2008. We had been to the Sagamore before, but only to eat. This time we wanted to stay there. The Sagamore is a beautiful hotel and resort up in Lake George, NY. It is on an island and the views are absolutely amazing!
How it all went down....
We arrived at the Sagamore on Friday afternoon. We checked into our room and decided just to settle in and hang out before we went out to dinner. After we were all settled in, we showered and got all dressed up for dinner. I sort of have a tradition when I go on vacation to take pictures of us all dressed up before we go out to dinner. So...I set up my camera and we did a mini photo shoot. After all, we did look fabulous!

So...we took some pictures of us looking sexy and stylish and then I started putting my camera away. Just as I was putting it away Alex said, "wait, one more picture." So I set my camera back up and we posed for another picture. This time as we were waiting for the timer to go off, Alex pulled out the ring and said,"will you marry me." I started freaking out and crying just as the camera took our picture.

Every girl has to have some bling!
When we first talked about marriage, I gave Alex a basic idea of what I wanted in a ring. He took the pictures to Jewelry Designs in Danbury, CT and they created my ring according to my specifications. Ask...and you shall receive! I was so surprised and I absolutely LOVE my ring. He did such an amazing job!
